Health and social care
For GPs, social workers, mental health teams, community services and other professionals seeking recovery support routes.
For GPs, partners and organisations
Recovery Cymru is an independent, peer-led recovery community working across Cardiff and the Vale. It also works alongside Barod and Kaleidoscope as a partner in the Cardiff and Vale Drug and Alcohol Service (CAVDAS) alliance.

Referral criteria
Recovery Cymru is right for people who are in or seeking recovery from substance use and want to engage with peer support and meet other people who have been through similar experiences.
Please do not refer someone to attend in person on a day when they are under the influence of anything non-prescribed. Contact the team to discuss the safest next step.
There is a dedicated Family and Friends peer-support programme for people who are worried about someone else.
